BUS

Bus travel is relatively cheap and an easy way of travelling from Lima to the Cordillera Blanca. When travelling to Churup Mountain Lodge we recommend that you choose either Cruz Del Sur or Movil Tours bus companies direct to Huaraz. However, if you are travelling by bus then your should take the Movil Tours Super Cama night bus service that leaves from Javier Prado and arrives to Huaraz.

PLANE

There are currently only flights on Tues, Thurs & Sat, that go from Lima to Anta airport with LC Peru. Flights take 45mins & cost on average around US120 return depending on availability. Upon arrival at Anta airport we will have a pre-arranged private taxi waiting to collect you to take you to your lodge. Due to inclement weather, we only recommend using this service from May to September, as due to conditions it is possible that your flight may be cancelled or you may not be able to land.

CAR

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OPTION. Please get the bus!!!

If you insist using your own transport, you MUST leave Lima by 4am in order to arrive well before it gets dark. We highly advise you take a physical map as well as saving a digital Google Map on your cell phone. Once you turn off the Pan American Highway the cell phone coverage will get increasingly bad so if you get lost be aware that you may not be able to phone for help or instructions..
